Founded in 2015, Wild African Intimate Safaris was born from a dream to create a safari company built on the values that matter most—personalized service, authentic experiences, attention to detail, and a genuine passion for showcasing Africa's natural wonders.
After more than 15 years of working in the safari industry, I had the privilege of helping thousands of travelers experience the beauty, wildlife, and culture of Africa. Watching guests return home with unforgettable memories and incredible stories to share with their families and friends became the most rewarding part of my career.
Over the years, those experiences inspired a dream of my own. I wanted to create a safari company built on the values I believe matter most—personalized service, authentic experiences, attention to detail, and a genuine passion for showcasing Africa's natural wonders.
That dream became a reality with the founding of our company.
Today, we are dedicated to crafting exceptional safari experiences that go beyond sightseeing. We believe every journey should leave our guests with lasting memories, meaningful connections, and stories they will treasure for a lifetime.

Every trip, by hand.
Each itinerary is built by a single consultant, signed off by a director, and shadowed by a guide who has driven the route. We hold reserved beds at 48 lodges and reserved seats on the bush carriers. When the migration shifts, we shift with it.
We are KATO and IATA bonded. Conservancy fees are baked into every booking. Flights are carbon-offset through ClimateCare. None of this is marketing.
Twelve people. Forty languages between them.
Our guides average 17 years in the field. Our consultants live in Nairobi, Arusha, and Kigali. There is no call centre. When you write to us, a person who has stood beside an elephant on that route writes back.
